Sand Blast Room is basically the larger version of the blast cabinet. Blast Room is created to reduce the environmental hazards and to decrease the air pollution around the workstation. It is also known as Sand Blasting Room.
The operator works inside the Sand Blasting Room and does all the blasting operations inside that room. Each operation requires different equipment and Sand Blast Room work in a combination of several other equipment’s such as:

Working of Sand Blast Room
On Sand Blasting Room working, a dust collector is used for collecting dust in the blast booth. A portable Sand Blasting Machine is placed outside of the Sand Blasting Room and the operator can do blasting inside the blasting hose. Portable Sand Blasting Machine is automatically on-off by remote control and can be handled in the Sand Blasting Room also.
In Sand Blast Room Recovery System is of two types- mechanical and Vacuum. In a vacuum recovery system, compressed air is used to transfer grit. Moreover, In an automatic recovery system during grit, sand blasting abrasive falls down in the screw conveyor and then media is transferred in the bucket elevator. After then, the bucket elevator separates usable shots and non-usable by media separator. Usable shots fall down in the Sand Blasting Machine hopper and this process will continue.
